There are several things occurring right now that will have an impact on what the neighborhood will be like in the future. The housing bubble burst, leaving numerous foreclosed and vacant properties in the community. The Lowry Bridge is being replaced in the near future which will impact the Lowry/Marshall intersection. The County would like to widen Lowry Avenue. The Met Council projects Minneapolis will grow by over 106,000 people by 2030. The City is planning several pedestrian/bicycle improvements in the next years. And a new corporation has been formed to oversee upper river redevelopment. Most of this will happen with or with out your involvement. Wouldn't it be better if you had some say in what and how development occurs? A 30 question survey on topics of neighborhood perception, goods and services, walk / bikeability, parks and open space and housing. Takes about 20 minutes.
This survey shows you a series of 60 photos and asks for your 'gut' reaction to them on a scale of -10 (hate it) to 0 (neutral) to +10 (love it). A Visual Preference Survey is designed to be taken in a more controlled environment. For the online version, we ask that you don't "think to much'" about the images and go through them as quickly as you can. It should take about 15 minutes.
